This is the story behind The Sustainable Travel Guides! How everything started five years ago, back in 2020…in the middle of the pandemic. 

In 2020 I was busy with my Masters in Tourism and Culture at the Radboud University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. During that time, after thorough research it was very clear to me, that Greece is not considered a sustainable travel destination.

Additionally, living in the Netherlands was an eye opening experience. I could not only find information about sustainable traveling in the country but also being able to do so with such ease.

So, after I graduated,  I took it upon myself to provide people with that information for their trip to Greece. That led me to the creation of a  constantly growing community on social media to promote sustainable travel to Greece in 2021. 

One thing led to another, and now after two years of monitoring the community, I started creating products that any one can use in order to get inspired, plan and execute their trip to Greece. These products are officially and legally sold under the Dutch Chamber of Commerce number KVK 89548450. 

I create the E-Books you will find in the store, after thorough research and groundwork. In them you will also find my collaboration with businesses that work really hard to keep customers happy while considering the impact they have in the environment within which they operate.
